ENTERTAINMENT, GAMES AND RECREATION

The children at Mathru Mandir are given lessons on music and dance, they are taken on picnics and encouraged to play outdoor games, are involved in activities like group and role model play, and also given lessons in swimming and gardening. All these activities are cautiously guided and modified by experienced staff and are carried out as a routine. The main aim of such exercises is to facilitate relevant social and play behaviours and also expression of emotions in a manner that is socially acceptable.
