aishanie is doing fine..she is crawling on her knees now and tries to stand up on her own all the time. she is a delight and everytime she is demanding i think of your prediction! i am coming to terms with everything a little better now. also, i wanted to give you some good news...sudanshu and i have decided finally to adopt a baby. we are very excited at the prospect and can't wait for the baby to come home. i know i will have to deal with the acceptance issue from family members, but i know that people who care for us will not take very long to accept this. what i am amazed about is, after aishanie has come into our lives, good friends (new and old) have suddenly surfaced in our lives and the superficial ones have disappeared...same with relatives except there are not too many relatives who have emotionally supported us. it does amaze us that blood relatives who are supposed to care the most, are least interested in what we have gone through and what we continue to deal with. it is hurtful but then, we hardly think about such things..we are getting on with our lives in the best way we know.
