Laksh
Laksh is a Mumbai based 7 year old child with Down syndrome. A multi-talented child who shows interest in participating all the competitions held in school as well as in building. Secured 3rd prize in Story Telling and also in Recitation competitions in school, when he was in Sr kg. Now Laksh is studying in Grade 1in a Regular CBSE board school.
Laksh has a Sharp memory. It shows in his ability to memorize and write the Names of Months, Days of the week, Sense organs, Rainbow colors , seasons names, Number Names till 100 etc., His Handwriting is excellent and he is now able to identify shapes and can do counting, reads simple sentences and can do simple addition and subtraction.
Laksh likes to dance and is extremely fond of puzzles. He has the ability to solve 35pieces puzzle within 5 minutes. He is also an ardent sports enthusiast with interest in sports like cricket and football.
Laksh is very loving and caring child who helps his mother in house hold work and likes to play with his elder brother. He is quite intelligent and is able to play and operate the tablet very well.
He is very careful about his things and keeps it properly in place after every use. He does exercises and attends Meditation sessions along with his mother. Laksh loves going to school, pack's his bag by himself but now because of lockdown, he is missing school but attends online classes without fail.
Laksh likes to read and listen to stories. Before going to bed he tries to read a book and asks his mother if he is not able to read any particular word. Laksh does his daily prayers along with his mother. He is a precious gem to their family and parents are thankful to God for blessing them with such a wonderful, loving, caring and a beautiful child.
