Art Bazaar

The Federation wanted to support artists and so decided to connect them with buyers who could be interested in these works of art. This art work comprises of any work of art including painting, craft work, needlework, photography or any other hobby or passion that comes in the realm of art. The Federation will be playing a supporting role in this and would be interested in getting the buyers and sellers together.

Unique style 2021 Calendar

As we welcome 2021, Jijo has done it in his unique style – with a New Year calendar with all his masterpieces of 2020. DSFI is proud to promote the calendar done BY one of us FOR all of us. You can also do your bit by buying the calendar and spreading the word. WE need to work together to achieve the ultimate goal – an Inclusive world for our children.

    For the online course for Down syndrome being conducted by the Down Syndrome Federation of India in association with IRC Bangalore and Ms. Tejal Shah , we have been trying to make the course as interactive and practical as possible.

    People have started taking notice of persons with Down syndrome. There is more awareness about Down syndrome than what was seen earlier. Today, another triathlete with down syndrome has proved that “down syndrome” is just a nomenclature. Nothing can stop them from achieving what they want. Chris Nikic from Florida has become the 1st person with Down syndrome to finish Ironman. Ironman is not an easy task. The video below shows the grit and determination that won this star his Ironman title.
