Awareness Workshop in Ahmadabad
50 families with persons with Down syndrome in the age group of 7 months to 21 years participated in the Workshop held at Ahmadabad. At each age, there are certain issues faced which were discussed and solutions were sought. Dr. Surekha Ramachandran and her team shared their experiences and know-how with the audience. Not only was it a learning experience for the delegates from Ahmadabad, but also for the team from DSFI. We just realized how most of the children go to school there and inclusion was being followed in most schools.
