Dr. Shaji has been awarded the Fellowship of the Indian Academy of Pediatrics (FIAP)
Dr. Shaji Thomas John, is a pediatrician from Kozhikode and an esteemed member of the Down syndrome Federation of India. He was the co-chair of the scientific committee along with the Chair, Dr. S. Suresh for the World Down Syndrome Congress (WDSC 2015) that was held in Chennai in August 2015. He is also a key committee member of the Asia Pacific Down Syndrome Federation (APDSF).
We are proud to inform that Dr. Shaji has been awarded the Fellowship of the Indian Academy of Pediatrics (FIAP) at the ‘Asia Pacific Congress of Pediatrics Pedicon 2016’ held at Hyderabad in January 2016. The Fellowship has been given in recognition of the services rendered to the Academy, the Community and the personal contribution in the form of academic publications and research. The fellowship was handed over by the National President of the Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP), Dr. Pramod Jog during the inaugural function of the Congress on 21st January 2016.
Dr.Shaji Thomas John was also elected as the National Chairperson of the Adolescent Health Academy (AHA) for the year 2016.
