A special Police Officer
This birthday, Sahil Singh from Lucknow got a gift that he would cherish all his life. He became the in-charge of the PGI Police station in Lucknow for 2 hours. Why would this be special? Sahil is a person with Down syndrome and he has always dreamt of being a Police officer. As he gave instructions, clad in Khakhi, he probably would have felt the pride that any officer feels.
This gift from the Police Department is a step in the right direction for persons with Down syndrome and other disabilities who can now see a ray of hope for their future.
