The Delhi State Award for Exceptional Achiever
The Delhi State Award for Exceptional Achiever among Persons with Disabilities is given by the Department of Social Welfare GNCT of Delhi to residents of Delhi honoring them on the occasion of International day of Persons with disabilities. The award is given in 4 categories
- 1. Best Employee/Self Employed (one male and one female)
- 2. Best sportsperson (one male and one female)
- 3. Best Creative person in the field of Dance/Drama/Music/Painting and writing (one male and one female)
- 4. Best individual working in the field of Social work initiative (one male and one female)
It is a proud moment for persons with Down syndrome as this year’s award was presented to Ms. Devanshi Joshi at a function at Sathya Sai Auditorium, Lodhi Rd., New Delhi.
Congratulations Devanshi. Wish you many more accolades. You instil every individual with Down syndrome in the country with hope that we can also do wonders.
