As part of RASA 35 and their 25th Margazhi Kala RASA Mahotsavam RASA are honouring 25 Veteran/ Senior Artistes in the fields of Dance , Drama and Music over the 12 days of the festival ( 24th December to 4th January ) .


It was the wish to of the founder of RASA, Smt. Ambika Kameswaran to select 12 Special Artistes and honour one Special Artiste per day during the festival as A RASA STAR ⭐. First star for her was Babli . The function was held at Bapalal Bhavan, Tiruvanmiyur and the timing of the Award function specifically was from 6.30 pm to 7.10 pm everyday . Babli received the award virtually. Her award was received by renowned legendary danseuse and Guru, Smt. Chitra Vishveshwaran. It is an honour for all of us, as Babli, our inspiration receives this award.
