Unnathi Suranaa Receives the Next-Gen Changemaker Award at Republic Media House
Unnathi Suranaa, UNICEF India Youth Advocate, has been honoured with the Next-Gen Changemaker Award at the Republic Media House Awards, recognising her efforts towards promoting inclusion, equal opportunities and the voices of young people.
Through her association with UNICEF, her storytelling initiatives and her engagement with young people and decision-makers, she continues to advocate for a world where everyone gets an equal opportunity to learn, participate and realise their potential.
The award was presented among an inspiring group of changemakers working across public health, environmental protection, community development, education and women’s empowerment.
Being recognised by a distinguished jury comprising Dr. Sonal Mansingh, Deepa Malik, Major General GD Bakshi (Retd.), Prof. V. Kamakoti and Niranjan Narayanswamy makes this recognition particularly special.
For Unnathi, this award is both an encouragement and a reminder that young voices matter, and that meaningful change can begin with one person’s experiences, ideas and the courage to speak up.
A proud milestone in her journey of making inclusion a reality!
