Jeel was born on 7-9-2003. Immediately after birth, the doctor informed us about Down syndrome. The doctor said that even after spending lakhs of rupees, there is no cure for this disease. But we didn’t lose hope and started working towards making our child normal and helping him progress like any other child.

Many times, our family members said that this child is mentally unflt. There’s no point in wasting time and money on him. They suggested that we have another child. But we didn’t give up and worked hard for 10 years to prepare our child physically and mentally.”

“Jeel started doing all his work independently without anyone’s help, such as bathing, eating, writing, reading, and more. He also began helping others and assisting with household chores.

After 10 years, we had another child. Jheel took great care of his younger brother and played with him. We enrolled him in a regular school, where he studied from grade 1 to 8. He cleared his 12th grade exams.

In school, Jeel participated in various programs, such as dressing up, drawing, dancing, and more. He consistently won prizes in these events. He’s also excellent in sports, particularly in running, shot put, and javelin throw. In the last flve years, he has secured flrst and second positions in these events at the Khel Mahakumbh in Ahmedabad.

Jeel is also skilled in yoga and has performed on numerous stages in Ahmedabad, winning awards. His

photos have been featured in newspapers and on TV.
“Jeel is multi-talented and proflcient in various activities like yoga, painting, fashion shows, dance, acting, art, and sports. He has a keen desire to learn and excel in every task.

Seeing his trophies, awards, and certiflcates, our family members, society, and community feel proud of him. For the past flve years, he has been creating eco-

friendly Ganpati idols at home and immersing them in a water body.
Recently, in 2024, he presented his handmade Ganpati idol to the Chief Minister of Gujarat, Shri Bhupendrabhai Patel. Jeel continues to strive for excellence.

Jeel has worked with Zydus Pharma and is currently employed at the Miti Cafe in the Gujarat High Court for the past flve months. He has become self-dependent and no longer relies on us.

Like any normal person, Jeel now travels alone to his job and returns home independently.
Recently, in 2025, Jeel received the Role Model Award for being an inspiration to people with disabilities at the All Gujarat Divyang Role Model Award ceremony organized by the Vishalvin Foundation in Surat.”
