Self-advocates from the Down Syndrome Federation of India, accompanied by their parents and teachers, enjoyed a wonderful visit to Guindy National Park, Chennai, today.

The outing was an opportunity to step outdoors, explore nature and spend time together in an environment filled with curiosity, learning and fun. For our self-advocates, experiences like these encourage independence, social interaction and confidence, while creating meaningful memories with friends, families and teachers.

Here are a few glimpses from their day at the park!
