On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the Lions Club District 3241-C hosted a special celebration at Hotel M Central, bringing together remarkable women who have made significant contributions to society.

The event recognized and honoured women who have truly carved a niche for themselves through dedication, perseverance, and impactful work in their respective fields.

We are proud to share that Dr. Surekha Ramachandran, President of the Down Syndrome Federation of India, was among the distinguished awardees. She received this prestigious honour in recognition of her unwavering commitment and selfless service towards the cause of Down syndrome.

Her work continues to inspire countless families and individuals, championing inclusion, awareness, and empowerment.
