The Down Syndrome Federation of India (DSFI) is excited to announce the 6th Edition of the Mom’s Meet, scheduled from 1st to 4th May 2025 in Shillong, Meghalaya. This special event aims to provide mothers and caregivers of children with Down syndrome an opportunity to rejuvenate, connect, and share experiences in a supportive and fun-filled environment.

Held annually in different cities across India, past editions of the Mom’s Meet have taken place in Jaipur, Kochi, Goa, Kashmir, and Ahmedabad. This year, Shillong provides a serene and welcoming backdrop for participants, allowing them to relax and bond with others who truly understand the joys and challenges of raising a child with Down syndrome.

The Mom’s Meet offers a perfect blend of leisure and learning. It allows mothers to step away from their daily routines, enjoy the beauty of a new location, and connect with others in similar situations. They can share their stories, find strength in each other, and return home refreshed and ready to tackle their challenges with renewed energy.

In addition to the supportive meet-ups, a medical camp is planned for 2nd May. Children from Shillong and nearby areas will have the opportunity to consult with doctors, discuss health issues, and receive valuable insights and solutions.

This event promises to be an enriching and empowering experience, fostering a sense of community and hope for all the dedicated mothers and caregivers.
